How Ekuseni Travel Began
Ekuseni is a Zulu word from South Africa that means the dawn, the start of a new day. For us, a new day always brings hope and inspiration to people with big dreams. We chose this name because we wanted our service to be a fresh start for travelers who want to see the real Africa.
The idea began when we hosted friends from around the world in our own home. We saw how much they loved the freedom to change their plans whenever they wanted.
This was very different from our own trips through South America and across Africa. Too often, we felt stuck in rigid plans with people who didn’t care about what we actually wanted to do.
We decided to build something better.
At Ekuseni Travel, we take care of the difficult parts, like private transport, safety, and clear pricing, so you don’t have to. But our most important job is to be your guardian on the ground. We will be the first to tell you if a tour activity doesn’t fit your style or if a day might be too much for you physically. We are here to look out for you and make sure your time in Africa is exactly what you hoped for.
